Gift Aid is a scheme that allows charities to reclaim tax on a donation made by a UK taxpayer, which means that the Diocese of Middlesbrough can claim back from HMRC 25p for every £1 you donate to the parish.

Gift Aid is reclaimed by the charity from the tax you pay for the current year.

To register for Gift Aid, please complete the form to the right. This will be sent directly to Dan Woodgate, the parish Gift Aid Organiser, and he will be in touch thereafter.

Please notify your parish Gift Aid Organsier, or the Diocese of Middlesbrough, if:

1. You wish to cancel the declaration
2. You change your name or address
3. You no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains tax

If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donation on your Self-Assessment tax return, or ask HMRC to adjust your tax code.
